Laura Amodei, MD completed her medical training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on a full academic scholarship.  She completed her radiology residency at John Hopkins University, where she spent two years on an NIH MRI research fellowship and where she also completed clinical fellowships in Breast Imaging and Body Imaging.  Dr. Amodei has written multiple book chapters and peer-reviewed publications.  She has won several awards, including being named one of “America’s Top Radiologists” in 2007.  She recently joined the CBC as our Director of MRI and is enjoying exploring Charleston with her husband, Josh Kirshtein, a Charleston native.
