Lisa Baron, MD graduated from the Medical College of Virginia and completed her radiology residency at MUSC.  Following this, she completed an additional year in women's imaging, specializing in Mammography.  She was the director and co-director of mammography at MUSC for nearly 10 years and opened the first digital mammography center in Charleston.  Dr. Baron has written multiple book chapters and peer-reviewed publications.  She is now the Medical Director of the Charleston Breast Center.  She has recently been chosen to be an ambassador for the American Cancer Society and is on the Advisory Board of the Komen Foundation.
